wish it was longer =O

fun stuff, nicely put together. the graphics fit together well (esp for a shooter), and the overall feel of the weapons and movement was very natural. too bad people always release these 30 second demos all the time. few personal opinions on a couple things if you really get back into it -

*lower quality for fps part (or have an auto-quality mode)
*fps parts TEND to be more fun when you can take guys out in 1 or 2 hits, but guys appear in rapid succession and fire quickly
*have variation in color for shoot 'em up part

other than that it seems you have a good start for a game. everyone's gonna ask you to finish it - so ill just have to jump on that bandwagon. good luck.

just kind of boring

this was a valiant attempt at a flash ... better than most. however, the sluggish movement and awkward fighting just made for a plain boring game. it basically consisted of screen after screen of the same exact thing - and i can't say that i found jumping up and down and firing at a target that slowly crept towards you was very fun. this game NEEEEEEDS to be faster paced. faster moving main chracters and enemies, and everything just needs to do more damage overall (enemies and the player).

additionally, while the overall idea for graphics was very nice, the interface seemed very quickly put together. the guns tend to look very much alike, and i twas kind of hard to tell which one you were switching to. also, the text next to the little heart container for your life clipped on and off periodically. i know im nit-picking, but all of these lead to an interface that just isn't solid; it doesn't the game's great sense of style otherwise.

you have the groundwork for a great game, but i think this needs a whole lot of revamping to really be entertaining. great engine though.

fun and innovative

hard to come by many flash games that are both innovative and actually fun to play. this was definately the perfect waste of time. good learning curve too.

but for the love of god make the music not be the same 10-second loop over and over again. if i hear that chord arpeggiated one more time im going to go insane.

thanks. you can toggle the music with "M".

cool idea

cool idea, executed moderately well. i enjoy hard games a lot, and this is definately pretty hard. although, you need someone to help you test difficulty with this. track mode seemed cool, until level 5. now, im all for hard levels, but the game seemed like it was for retarded kids until then. and, every time you die twice you have to play all 4 levels over again. the difficulty didn't make sense. there were also a couple bugs in track mode (sometimes i would die in teh finish circle with my ball clearly being completley inside it.

the main game is alright, but it's pretty much all rote memorization. and as fun as it is to remember when to click on objects, i got bored with it at level 7. as i said before i like challenging games, but there's NOTHING to this besides memorizing exactly when to do what.

not remotely interesting

this flash is badly in need of sound and more interesting graphics. there just needs to be more going on, i can't quite explain how detatched i felt. games are supposed to draw you in...and. i don't mean like in a doom 3 type way or whatever, i just mean it needs to at least occupy a majority of my attention. it feels completely unfinished apart from the basic gameplay.

strangely addictive

this is just one of those games that seems simple and repetetive, but somehow extremely addictive. just by looking at the games that come into newgrounds everyday you can pretty much tell this is just about what everyone's going for; but you seem to have succeeded where just about everyone else fails.

the interface is slick, and the game is massive. reminds me (graphically for some reason) of star control 2 a lot. seems like it would've been a really cool substitute for their simplistic planet mining thing. unique, fun, and addictive...good job!

very, very meh

you had a very fun little platform thing worked out, but there was an overwhelming amount of detail that was not paid attention to. the jumping was awkward, the spring boards were awkward and ugly, all the monsters did one of two things, there was no background. the music felt VERY last minute...kind of like you made the whole game and someone was like "oh shit it needs music. well...here's this little thing i foudn or wrote. it repeats every 10 seconds, but it's something". it's EXTREMELY repetetive and annoying. as are the same 2 sound effects that are played over and over again.

honestly this felt like some crappy klik n play game. it's impressive that you did this all in flash and all...and it seems like the basis for a good game. but it seemed VERY unprofessional in the end with all of the little glitches and hastily assembled parts.

kinda..fun

mildly entertaining. the sound effects got annoying. also, the car movement was way too erratic, especially when coupled with the bizarre jumping accel/deaccel.

nice interface, lacks gameplay

it's presented very professionally. the menus are very slick, and the graphics work very well. unfortunetly, the game is boring as hell. the courses are to small and uninteresting, and shit on the track just kind of comes out of nowhere after you go off of a jump sometimes. not only that, but you get the best stuff after only a few races. then again, but the time you've done those, you don't really feel like playing anymore.

mausland comes through again

as usual, VERY professional. slick interfaces, well-made graphics, and intense gameplay. you guys are freakin machines! keep 'em comin!
