[Nutsy & Klutsy: Ep. 1]

just doesn't quite deliver

this is obviously a well animated flash, and you also obviously have talent for putting together little stories. unfortunetly, in the end, i just didnt' find this too funny. it's a little hard to explain, but...none of the jokes seemed quite on point. almost like, someone was retelling a joke by another comedian but fucking up the words (not saying this as a knock to the ren and stimpy similiarities).

the humor was just a little too cluttered, and the quality of the recordings was just a little too crappy. voice acting was decent, but was of course brought down by the quality of sound.

good replica?

the animation was smooth and you replicated the art done on the "clint eastwood" video very well (if that's the way all their art is then you did that well, but that's all i've seen of them). however, and this is a problem with a lot of music video submissions, please look into how people look when they play an instrument. the drumset had like..2 snares, and he wasn't hitting a hi hat, and both of his hands were synchronized. and im not trying to point out small details, it just seemed blatantly awkward and wrong.

sweet idea and cool song ot pick though. the different angles and everything were all put together nicely.

almost really good

there's a very cool style that's being developed in this animation, and in a few scenes it's potential really shines. however, too much of the movie (especially some of the movies in the fight scene) just plain don't look right. they seem really choppy, and don't mesh in well with the smoothness of the other parts.

it seems as though you just needed to simply put more work into the animation. im not saying it didn't take awhile, or what you did wasn't hard, but to really give it a full feel it needs smoother animation. very cool cinematogrophy and direction though.

awkward mess

this pretty much suffers in all of the areas that most flash skits suffer in - horrible voice acting, and badly-timed jokes. this definately has that cheesy anime-humor feel, and personally i can't stand it. especially if it's not even done well. "penguin's as a holy symbol" might be funny to 3rd graders, but not me.

alright idea, questionable execution...

it had some funny parts. but all in all it was brought down by the monotonous, sub-par voice acting. normally that woudln't have such a big impact, but it was just 1 person talking. the little things to the side like the mice and carrots were funny to see, but i still felt distracted by that bunny talking.

good idea, decent scripting, but when you base a whole flash off of 1 person talking you simply need to have better voice acting.

very enjoyable, great voice acting

i have to say first off that this was possibly the best voice acting i've heard in a newgrounds flash. the music direction was also top notch - moody with seemless transitions.

unfortunetly, even with such high quailty sound direction, the animation seems sub par. on a newgrounds flash level, it's well made, but falls short of that professional level that this deserves. the characters seemed well designed and all, but it looks like it was drawn and colored by someone who is just learning how to draw from a "how to draw anime" book. no offense, but i think getting help on animation/coloring would make this seem a hundred times more professional.

other than that, great job pulling the story together and bringing it to life with all around great sound.

kicked ass!

very profesionally put together. the voice acting/sound quality was great and added a lot to the animation. also, the song at the end was funny as hell.

funny, well draw, well scripted, well thought out, and very original.

interesting to watch

as much as i love stabbing westward, it added a terribly corny element to this flash (which was definately not needed with the angel/animal/anime stuff). i know this is a matter of opinion, but i always find that rock pretty much ruins the mood of most film unless it's just isntrumental stuff.

top notch animation though, and some very cool little sequences.

i guess everyone who knows krinkels better watch out. or, at least the sheriff in whatever town he lives in.

then again, for the 10 million flashes on newgrounds about senseless violence, having only 1 of them actually represent what a person will do isn't too bad.
