not very funny

another terribly overrated video game spoof...

the animation and sound were very very choppy. the voice acting was definately top notch, but all the music and sound effects just didn't link up well with the animation or story. the little gun sequence was not put together well, it didn't feel natural or exciting at all.

and, once again, the ideas were funny. like how he gets dropped off away from his objective and all, but weren't well played out. i felt like i was waiting for the "Ba-Doom, TSSSKK" after every other lane that someone said.

solid, but much the same

very very solid as usual. unfortunetly, the standard shooting up was a little monotonous, especially since ive already seen it happen like 4 times. the graphic additions were nice, and the music/sfx were perfect as usual.

my main problem with this madness, as with all madnesses, is that it ends way too suddenly. i honestly didn't start getitng into until the end, when the clown goes nuts. but..there was no clown vs 50 guys vs protaganist or any other cool shit. it was just kind of a back-and-forth 1on1 fight. well done, but repetetive. you have a lot of skill, and obviously a good imagination, but the imagination seems to be getting a little lazy.

nonetheless, it was an excellent job. i hope to see another madness in the future, but i hope it has a lot more ingenuity than this one.

good sutff

pretty funny. i like how the bunny keeps cutting the kids off.

also, i think i like the censored version better. i don't know why, but...all that censoring made me laugh.

badass!

funny and slick. i found this very entertaining. great choice of music by the way - subtle, but fits it perfectly. this flash has an amazing sense of style, and has the artistic support to make it work. this is so much funnier than all of those retarded game parodies everyone makes that aren't..funny at all. love to see people with artistic style! good work.

Thanks - I feel kind of bad, because each of the three songs I put in there were really good, but due to filesize and time issues, I couldn't use more than about a ten second loop of each. Oh well.

nice piece

very good story telling. personally i think this flash would've greatly benefitted from some additional editting. the music cuts are kind of short sometimes, and the scene changes are a bit sudden. also, the animation at times seems choppy and off.

but aside from those, this was very solid. there's a lot of crap on newgrounds where people want to tell sad stories and come off with some really corny shit, but this was well done. keep it up!

meh

very stylish and smooth. the animations were well done, and the flash pretty much gets straight to the point. unfortunetly this idea of robots and emotions has been done countless times before - on newgrounds and in thousands of other stories and movies. you can always show a new angle on an idea, but this flash definately did not do that. i didn't feel the least bit intrigued or englightened. it ultimately ends up feeling, like your robot, a bit empty.

Yeah, this is a pretty common complaint about my movie: that it is rather old hat.

Anyway, unlike many other reviewers who have pointed this shortcoming out, I think your review stands as someone who actually put some thought into reviewing it and made some helpful criticism.

Thanks for reviewing.

entertaining, but......

slightly repetetive, especially since there have already been a number of madnesses where the same things happen. although, it was done quite well.

a suggestion i might have though - in both movies the final battles with the super kung-fu enemy bunnies drag on a little. it's not neccesarily that they're too long, it's that they just kind of keep swiping at each other and blocking. it would be very entertainign to seem one knock another out of a window and chase him out onto a new battleground, and have other small events happen while they're out there (platform breaking, couple minions drop in) to break the pattern. it's a lot more interesting to wait to see what will happen next than to just wait for the good guy to finally get his hit in and win the fight.

very well done though. the storyline was perfectly bare-bones enough to make you curious, but not really worry about caring. the animation was very professional and smooth.

what the hell was that?

stories about love and feelings on valentines day that are about 2-3 minutes long are not a good idea. im not sure if it's possible to make them NOT come out corny as hell. none of these were remotely good apart from animation. although i admit i did laugh a little uncontrollably when voltrix's animation ended. that was the (unintentionally) funniest piece of garbage i've ever seen.

also this whole series is a little weak. all of them are just grayscale with a color. there's no real art or challenge behind it. i think having somethign like "5 shades of blue and 1 of orange" would be really cool. it would allow artists to use that 1 contrasting color as an artistic tool. gradients of a single color don't really allow it, they.. just make the flash look like it was done with 1 color.
